How to Draw The Solar System
Step 1
The sun is the center of our universe, but for this tutorial on drawing the solar system, we will draw it to the side of the picture.
This way, we can show the planets later in the guide. First, start with a curved line in the corner of the image to Draw The Solar System.
After drawing this round line, you can draw a jagged, pointed line around its perimeter, with many points on it for the sun’s rays. With that, it’s time for step 2 of the guide to Draw The Solar System!
Step 2
With the sun drawn, we can now start on the solar system’s first planets. Now let’s draw the first three planets.
We use perfect circles when we draw these planets, which can be tricky freehand.
There are some tools you can use to make things easier for yourself. The best tool is a drawing compass because you can easily draw perfect circles with a pen or pencil.

Step 5
To complete this solar system drawing guide, we need to add three more planets to the image before adding some color to your artwork.
Two of these will be quite large, with one having a different ring around it. Finally, we finish with another small circle.
It is widely believed that Pluto is not classified as a real planet but is a part of our solar system nonetheless.
You can finish by adding some line detail to the other planet you drew, and then you are ready for the final step!
However, add some fun details before moving on to the last part. You can change some details when adding or removing certain planets to create your unique solar system to Draw The Solar System.

Step 6
The different planets of the solar system all differ in their appearance and coloring. We’ll finish off your solar system drawing by adding these colors now.

Once you’ve chosen the colors you want to use, you can also have fun choosing what artistic mediums and tools you use to bring them to life.
